So anyway, I got a note from a friend yesterday that said I’m famous. Turns out I was quoted at a conference. My friend sent a picture, and there it was, my name on a powerpoint slide. Whaddya know?
I had to take some time to figure out where this quote came from, and I finally found it. It’s on the Silent Blessings blog, dated 9/16/16. If I may say so, it’s a worthy read – so are a few other articles out there. You’ll get some insight into this thing we call Deaf Ministry and why it takes so much in resources, and why we’re willing to give so much.
So there you have it – in a setting that is specific (yet undisclosed, it’s the ‘terp way), I’m officially quotable, and somewhat famous.
