To the average bystander, this isn’t amazing. To those incredibly few in the know, it’s a miracle worthy of praise.
I made a quilt in 2020, lovingly and all that stuff. My friend did the decorative quilting freehand.
The quilt was packaged and sent…and didn’t arrive. We inquired of the postal service, dead ends everywhere. I prayed that whomever would be blessed as they discovered a quilt made on purpose for someone else…for over three years.
I received a card in the mail today. “Thank you for the quilt.” The story was told of clearing a mystery drop box and delivering the package as addressed.
The person for whom the quilt was made received it, 3 years & 6 months after it was sent.
I’m reminded of a story from Daniel in the Bible. When the angel arrived, he told Daniel, “God answered 21 days ago. It took me this long to fight through enemy forces. Help arrived and here I am with the message.” (Daniel 10:12-14, paraphrased.)
Much praise, to the One who most knows it matters. The quilt arrived!
