If you’re going to travel, may as well step out of your food rut too (although I’ve also had oatmeal, simple sandwiches, and a few Chick-fil-A’s). Every few days or so, I find something new to try…
FFrench Quarter Plate, Bob’s Tex-Orleans Cookin’, Houston
A combination of red beans and rice, crawfish etouffee and an andouille sausage link.
Meat + 3 Platter, Andalous Mediterranean Grill, Arlington
2 warm pitas, spinach & traditional hummus, spinach salad, brussel sprouts, gyro meat, and pistachio baklava. Yes, I got a box.
Lechon Asado, Gloria’s Latin Cuisine, Arlington
Grilled pork tenderloin, marinated and cooked to perfection, Served in a chile ancho sauce with Argentinian sausage, plantain, Yuca, Spanish rice and small black bean soup.
And of course, when in Texas, I have to go back to long lost favorites like Schlotzky’s and Grandy’s.
Bon Appetit!
Looks interesting! 🙂
