Jesus – put me where YOU want me, and let me know I’m there.
You know the dreams, desires, and tendencies you placed in my heart. You know how I’ve received and understood (and at times ignored) various messages from You and others. You know the concerns and distractions I carry with me each day. You alone know what regrets I will, or may, look back on in later years. You know the plans You have for me, the future and the hope You’ve arranged for me, and the work You prepared in advance for me to do.
You also know the dreams, desires, and tendencies of the people who love me. Their advice is grounded in love, yet we all have incomplete perspectives. We want our loved ones to be safe, near, and unburdened. Sometimes those desires, though good, come in conflict with Your priorities. Sometimes the loved ones come in conflict with one another, each seeking what they see as best based on love and incomplete perspectives.
You have designed me for the invisible people on the margins. You have called me to introduce Deaf people to You. Now make it clear where and how You want me to do that in this next season.
